So who are we on this beautiful Island in the middle of the lake- Kallavesi?
We are a family run business with great passion to sport, nature, and countryside. The idea to build an enchanted forest, an authentic hideout in the forest, came out of many years spent abroad and evolving ideas. We wanted to create a unique atmosphere, and authentic experience for our visitors. We also wanted to highlight the beauty, purity, and simplicity of the Finnish nature. We started to build our vision piece by piece in our home estate in Vaajasalo 2021.
We want our visitors to be able to enjoy nature and simple things without any distractions. For some, this might be a totally new experience and for others it might feel like turning back in time. Nowadays we live a life full of noise, different stimulations, stress and in many cases, not enough time to enjoy the present. We offer a chance to enjoy outdoors and nature experiences in a unique environment. All our structures have been made by ourselves, including the furniture. We use recycled materials and respect ecological aspects in every decision we make. We are an exclusive eco-luxury travel destination without modern luxuries such as electricity and running water in our forest villas. We use composting toilets, solar panels, green energy, and natural materials.

All our guests have in their use a private forest villa with a private terrace. Since we work with exclusive manner, we can pamper our guests and make their stay a memorable, exclusive experience. We invest in comfort and high-quality products such as linen sheets, organic detergents, high quality catering and ingredients and custom-made furniture. For us luxury means quality time in a unique setting customized just for you.
The calming effect of nature, in particular the forest creates an opportunity to new experiences. In our hideout quests can pick up berries directly outside their doorstep, cook on live fire, have a relaxing evening in our forest sauna and palju (heated tub), take a swim in a lake or just spent time wandering in the forest. We offer guided excursions such as trail running, sup- boarding, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and aerial yoga in the forest, to name a few. We also have a private gym in our renovated barn witch our guests can freely use.
Our quests can choose to have a relaxing holiday and enjoy the calm of the forest or choose to have more active experience.
Our experience
We have over 20 years of experience in coaching. Our experience comes from professional coaching, over 20 years of running a gym, programming, and personal training. We want to offer our quests an active and regenerating stay in our Hideout. We have also long experience in travel industry and guiding, we want our excursions to be an authentic and unique experience, a lifelong memory.
